Dublin is a perfect example of this! It is also a great place to base yourself, if you want to explore other areas of Ireland. One of the first things we saw in KL was a monkey dressed in toddlers clothing, jumping up and down on the back of a moving scooter and it pretty much sums up, this busy and vibrant city right in the middle of a tropical setting. It is one of the fastest growing cities in Malaysia and with that it doesn’t have brilliant crime rates but like many other cities it has a lot to offer a family. Whether you are nipping over the border from Singapore for a few days, which is easy enough to do or travelling through Malaysia, it is definitely worth a visit! If you're stopping over in Singapore with the family, it's worth making sure you've got a few days to explore! Comfortable and efficient public transport, links you to all the family attractions, that are relatively close to one-another. Even though Singapore is quite compact, if you have younger children, it is a good idea to choose accommodation close to a train station. Bay Hotel is just a three minute train journey from Sentosa Island, where you will find a lot of attractions. The station across the road from the hotel entrance, will link you to other places of interest like Marina Bay, and it has a pool! If you didn't know, the weather and temperatures are great in Singapore.
